Celebrity Beauty Inspiration

Hello everyone..
Hope you are all well.
Just thought i would share a few pictures of celebrities which i feel have lovely make-up and those that inspire me.

Katy Perry

Making fair skin look flawless, I love how she can wear fun quirky make-up looks but also switches it up with a glamorous pin up girl style so effortlessly.
She is soo gorgeous (and yes i have seen the infamous no-makeup picture)

 Kim Kardashian

Smokey eyes and nude lips - 'nuff said.

Cheryl Cole

Always looks flawless and pretty, love watching the X factor to see her make-up and fashion.

Una Healy
Brooke Shields

Paris Hilton
  And The Rest..

Megan Fox

So what do you think of my chosen celebrities, do you agree?
Who are your celebrity beauty favourites?

Occasion Makeup & Review of ELF Studio Blush in Gotta Glow

Hi everyone! So earlier on in the week I posted a picture on the ELF cosmetics facebook page of me wearing The ELF studio blush in gotta glow.
I got a lot of likes on the picture which made me very eager to tell you all my thoughts on this product.First of all the picture was taken before I attended a christening, so it is sort of an occasion makeup look but not too heavy.

Here is a list of the products i used:
Face:
  • Clarins Beauty Flash Balm
  • Estee Lauder Double- Wear Light stay in place makeup in Intensity 1.0
  • MAC Studio Finish SPF 35 Concealer in NC20
  • Rimmel Sun Shimmer Bronzing Powder
  • MAC Blush in Dollymix
  • ELF Studio Blush in Gotta Glow
Eyes:

(Although you can't see them in the quick photo i have taken sorry! i will list them anyway)
  • MAC Brow Pencil in Taupe
  • Urban Decay Eyeshadows in Virgin, Sidecar and Halfbaked (From Urban Decay Naked Palette)
  • Too-Faced Lash Injection Mascara
Lips:
  • MAC Lipstick in Angel
  • No7 HighShine Lipgloss in Smile

I curled my hair loosely by using my midnight GHD Straighteners and finished by spraying the curls with the L'Oreal Elnett Hairspray Cheryl limited edition.

Unfortunately you can't see my dress in the picture but i am absolutely in love with it!

It's by TFNC and is available from their own website as well as ASOS and House of Fraser.
I wore mine with a belt to cinch in my waist and add some shape as the dress is very floaty.

Anyway!! Onto the ELF Gotta Glow Blush..

I am aware that this blush has been compared to a NARS highlight which i have never tried so cannot compare the two.
I found the packaging to be very nice, sleek and black not cheap looking even though the product itself was only £3.50.
I cannot rave enough about the product, it is a gorgeous highlighter which reflects a nice gold shimmer, but not too obvious even on my fair skin.

It is a dream to apply and i can see this product lasting a long time as a little goes a very long way.
I like to apply this to my cheeks, browbone and even very lightly down my nose.
I have recieved many compliments and questions about my glowing skin when wearing this product, i recommend it to anyone and i will definitely be repurchasing this again and again.

Sorry for this post being super long i wanted to tell you as much as i could about the different ways you can wear this highlighter, make-up and fashion wise.
I hope you enjoyed reading!

Review: E.L.F Hypershine Gloss In Bubblegum

Hi everyone! This is a review of the E.L.F Hypershine Gloss in the shade Bubblegum.

What ELF Says:

"Hyper, glass-like shine infused with micro-mirror technology to reflect light. Conditioning shine lasts for hours."

Price: £1.50
Amount of product: 1.5g

I decided to try this lipgloss after watching several youtube videos on it, I thought the colour looked really pretty and for £1.50 there wasn't much to lose if I didn't like this product.

Packaging

I really like the simple packaging of this gloss, it is very similar to the STILA lip glaze which is ten times the price.

I find it handy that the pen is clear so you can see how much (or how little) product is left.

The pen needs to be twisted quite a lot of times before the product will come out of the brush applicator.
I would go slowly with this as the gloss tends to suddenly come out all at once!

Product

Now for the important part, the product itself!

The colour is a gorgeous milky pink and once on the lips it does live up to the name bubblegum.

I found the gloss very easy to apply using the brush applicator.

I did however have to use a couple of layers to get this baby pink colour.

As far as staying power goes this lipgloss isn't great but isn't awful either, it is average and i didn't expect much more for the cheap price.

The gloss is very shiny as advertised, but it is also very gloopy and sticky.
More so when applying more than one layer.

The only way to stop this from happening is to use a thin layer of this lipgloss over a lipstick.

I find it looks lovely over a nude pink like MACs angel which is what I have been pairing it with.

Verdict

Overall I would say for the affordable price, these glosses are worth the money.

ELF sell these in a wide range of colours meaning theres colours to suit everyone.

Would I purchase these again? Yes but i'm not a hurry to do so.

Bottom line, if you are looking for an affordable shiny lipgloss which is perfect for throwing in your handbag for on the go touch-ups I would definitely give these a try.

Thanks for taking the time to read this review, I hope you found it helpful.
